Live-Action Crazy Taxi Movie, New Sonic Animated Series, and Stranger Than Heaven Adaptation Heading to Netflix

Netflix has unveiled three Sega video game adaptations: a live-action Crazy Taxi movie, a new Sonic animated series, and an adaptation of the upcoming Stranger Than Heaven. The live-action Crazy Taxi film, written by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, will bring the beloved Dreamcast game to life in a comedy format. The Sonic animated series, aimed at a young pre-school audience, will feature Sonic and his friends as heroes with a comedic and emotionally grounded narrative.

Stranger Than Heaven, developed by RGG Studio, will delve into early 20th-century Japan, following a foreigner's rise from an outsider to a feared yakuza leader and entertainment mogul. Producers Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, and Toru Nakahara, alongside Sega executives Shuji Utsumi and Toru Nakahara, are excited to bring these iconic games to a new audience.
