PH sedia tanding solo di PRN Melaka, kata Adam Adli

Melaka PKR Chairman Adam Adli declared that the Pakatan Harapan party is ready to compete alone in the upcoming PRN Melaka if there is no formal dialogue with the Barisan Nasional. According to Bernama, Adli stated that the absence of formal dialogue does not undermine the party's readiness and they are prepared to compete in all constituencies.

He emphasized that the decision to engage in formal discussions lies with each party. Adli, speaking after the closing ceremony of Madani Village Meeting in Melaka, said that a competitive political race in the lead-up to PRN Melaka should not undermine community relations and harmony in the state. Furthermore, during the three years of forming a unity government in Melaka, the PKR member had worked well with the state government.

"It is up to the people to make their choice, and we are ready to face the upcoming PRN with a new spirit," Adli concluded. The Malay government's mandate ends on December 31, after which a general election must be held within 60 days. Both PH and the Perikatan Nasional are attempting to reach an agreement with the Barisan Nasional, which currently holds 20 of the 28 parliamentary seats.

PH and BN are allies at the federal level, but their relationship has deteriorated since BN formed a coalition with PN in the PRN in Negeri Sembilan, resulting in a two-thirds majority win.
