Body of man who fell off boat in Amsterdam found

Divers have recovered the body of a 47-year-old man who fell off a boat in Amsterdam's IJ canal on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred near the Schellingwouderbrug, a bridge connecting Amsterdam East and Amsterdam Noord, at around 12:30 PM. Multiple diving teams, rescue boats, and a helicopter equipped with a thermal camera were deployed to the scene.

After an hour of searching, the operation was terminated as the likelihood of finding the man alive diminished. His body was discovered late Wednesday evening. The circumstances surrounding the man's fall are currently unknown, and the police are conducting an investigation.
