Punjab University Reopens Undergraduate Admissions for 2026-27

The University of the Punjab has reopened undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic year to fill available seats. The second admission phase commenced on September 8 at 8:00 AM. Eligible students can apply online until September 28, 2026. Admission will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis through the university's online admission portal.

Eligible applicants include fresh candidates and those who applied earlier but were unable to secure admission. Candidates who did not take the admission test can also apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for the chosen degree program. The time of fee-challan generation will be used to determine the first-come, first-served order when limited seats remain.

Punjab University is offering vacant seats in the first and fifth semesters. Study categories include morning, evening, afternoon, replica, and self-supporting programs, denoted by M, E, A, R, and SS respectively.

In agricultural sciences, first-semester seats are available in BSc (Hons) Agriculture (replica) and BSc (Hons) Food Science and Technology (self-supporting). For business, economics, and administrative sciences, programs like BS Business Economics, BS Economics, and BS Management are available in self-supporting and evening sessions. In behavioural and social sciences, programs such as BS Community Development and Participatory Governance and BS Gender Studies are open in self-supporting categories.

Geo-sciences programs like BS Environmental Sciences and BS Hydrology and Water Resources Management are available in first semester. Programs at Gujranwala Campus include BBA and BBA Banking and Finance, while Jhelum Campus offers programs like BS Accounting and Finance and BBA. Pothohar Campus provides programs such as BBA and LLB.
