“Music is so stressful” –Headless YouTuber on why he won’t return

Ghanaian YouTuber Headless, formerly known as Kula in the music industry, has revealed that he will not return to his music career, citing the high levels of stress involved. Headless appeared on Hitz FM's morning show, Daybreak Hitz, where he spoke with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio. He explained that initially, he entered content creation to support his music ambitions, but found the process to be excessively demanding.

"Music is so stressful," he stated. "After starting content creation, I realized it was too much work. You need to go to the studio to record, pay dancers, attend radio and TV interviews, shoot music videos, and perform."

Additionally, Headless disclosed that his introverted nature played a role in his decision. He expressed a dislike for late-night backstage waits and preferred creating content during the day to spend more time with his family. To further combat the stress, Headless decided to intentionally avoid creating content on weekends, stating, "I don't create content on weekends. It's intentional. Regardless of how big a story is, if it breaks on weekdays I will not do it. I will rather push it to Monday."

Over the past five years, Headless YouTuber has been creating engaging content that caters to the interests of the growing social media audience. As a musician, he released songs including "Amen," "Interview," "One," and "Meye Yie." In 2019, he won the Ghana Music Awards' 'Unsung' project.
