Iran plans new Hormuz zone, deadly Israeli strikes on Lebanon, and Sudan chemical weapons dossier

Tehran and Oman are set to establish a restricted zone around the Strait of Hormuz, as commercial shipping through the waterway continues to plummet to its lowest level since May. This follows a series of US and Iranian strikes on tankers in the region. The latest development comes as Iran claims it will launch a new international shipping corridor.

Meanwhile, Sudan's military is reportedly operating a secret chemical weapons program, having produced nearly 300 chemical munitions. This alarming revelation has sparked concern among international observers.

In Lebanon, renewed fighting has resulted in at least seven deaths and 20 injuries following Israeli strikes on Sunday. The violence has once again plunged the region into turmoil.

Elsewhere, a tragic accident occurred at Miami International Airport when an Amazon Prime Air cargo plane overran a runway and crashed. The incident claimed at least five lives.
