#SHOWBIZ: 'She can't escape': Awie on Erra Fazira's special role in Rock King concert

Sungai Buloh: Erra Fazira and Datuk Awie are set to perform together at the Rock King Awie – Last Man Standing 2026 concert this Saturday. The actress and singer will sing Cinta Makrifat in the Cinta & Filem segment at Stadium Merdeka. Awie emphasized that Erra's participation is not a gimmick but a way to provide a unique perspective on his career journey.

Awie, whose real name is Ahmad Azhar Othman, joked, "She can't escape. She's in my life," referring to their long-standing association. Erra agreed to participate after being approached for the concert and mentioned she is fine as long as there aren't too many songs. The concert, organized by Bombbay Legend Worldwide, will feature five segments, each with its own storyline.

Awie has been preparing songs, monologues, and acting sequences for the show. The performance will also include sketches involving Awie, Erra, and Hannah Delisha, making it more than a regular concert. Other performers include Datuk Hattan, Putra Ahmad Merrah, Amir Masdi, Stacy, and Black. Audiences can expect a mix of music, storytelling, and acting during Rock King – Last Man Standing 2026 at Stadium Merdeka this Saturday.
