Palestinian football returns amid joy, grief

Palestinian football has returned after a three-year hiatus, with the first tournament since Hamas' October 7, 2023 attack on Israel marked by both joy and sorrow. Palestinian security forces escorted the Palestine and Saudi Arabia teams to the opening match at Faisal Al-Husseini Stadium in Al-Ram, West Bank.
