Muda, Bersatu bertemu untuk Belanjawan Malaysia

Presidential Youth Amira Aisya Abdul Aziz revealed that a recent meeting between the Muda and Bersatu parties was connected to the Malaysia Budget. The meeting took place recently and was held to strengthen the opposition, especially as the upcoming financial year begins. Amira spoke to FMT for clarification on the meeting. On September 2nd, Bersatu Secretary-General Azmin Ali shared on Facebook about the meeting between the highest leaders of both parties.

Alongside Azmin and Amira, Vice President Radzi Jidin and Ahmad Faizal Azumu also attended. Azmin emphasized that both parties share similar principles and concerns for the people. This meeting comes amid speculation about Bersatu's position in the National Unity Government (PN). Relations between PAS and Bersatu have been strained since last year, leading PAS to end its political cooperation with Bersatu in June.

Bersatu accused PN of becoming toxic and drifting away from the fight under PAS leadership. In July, Bersatu President Muhyiddin Yassin was reportedly told that Bersatu plans to form a powerful alliance after the Ninth National Election.
