Muda, Bersatu bertemu untuk Belanjawan Malaysia

Presiden Muda Amira Aisya Abdul Aziz revealed that a recent meeting between the Youth and Bersatu parties was centered around Malaysia's budget. The gathering took place recently, according to Amira, as one of the efforts to strengthen the opposition, especially in the upcoming budget period. Amira provided this information when contacted by FMT.

On September 2nd, Bersatu's Deputy Chief Azmin Ali shared on Facebook about the meeting between the highest ranks of both parties. Besides them, the deputy president Radzi Jidin and Ahmad Faizal Azumu also attended. Azmin also stated that both parties share many similarities in terms of simple progressive principles and concern for the people.

This meeting comes after speculations about Bersatu's position in Perikatan Nasional (PN). Relations between PAS and Bersatu have weakened since late last year, leading to PAS ending political cooperation with Bersatu in June. Bersatu accused PN of becoming toxic and being led astray under PAS's leadership. On July 17th, Bersatu's president Muhyiddin Yassin alleged that Bersatu would form a formidable alliance after the Ninth National Election (PRN Negeri Sembilan).
