Kaushambi blast toll 14, three-storey house of main accused demolished

The death toll in the illegal cracker factory blast in Kaushambi's Manouri village has risen to 14, with 17-year-old Urvashi succumbing to her injuries on Wednesday, according to Superintendent of Police Satya Narain Prajapat. The blast occurred at an illegal cracker factory, and Naushad, the main accused, was arrested on Tuesday.

His sister-in-law Shabana, niece Saina, and two others - Shakeel, Adil, and Kahkashan Begum - are still at large. Police have announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for each person's arrest. Authorities demolished the three-storey house owned by Naushad, which lacked the necessary building permissions, on Wednesday. The demolition began at 6 pm on Tuesday and was completed by 5 am on Wednesday.

District Magistrate Amit Pal stated that strict action will continue against those violating building rules.
