USS Abraham Lincoln sails past Singapore on its way home from Middle East

The USS Abraham Lincoln, a powerful U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, passed by Singapore on Sunday, August 30, 2026, en route home from the Middle East. The ship was observed by Associated Press journalists stationed on the Indonesian island of Batam, located across the Singapore Strait. The Lincoln, one of the largest vessels in the U.S. Navy, was deployed in support of the U.S. conflict with Iran.
