Russian drone strikes Ukrposhta truck near Kramatorsk, destroying about 500 parcels

A Russian drone attack on an Ukrposhta truck near Kramatorsk in Ukraine's Donetsk Oblast resulted in injuries to the driver and the destruction of approximately 500 parcels, according to the company's CEO Ihor Smilianskyi on August 29. Smilianskyi assured customers that they would receive compensation for their lost parcels, emphasizing that the driver, Serhii, is alive and receiving necessary medical care.

The Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported that Russian forces had shelled Donetsk Oblast 24 times in the previous day. Earlier, on August 6, a Russian attack destroyed an Ukrposhta sorting depot and mobile post office base in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, resulting in the deaths of two employees who were killed by a Banderol missile.
