This new setting allows users to opt-out of the platform's algorithmic Discover feed, stopping their posts from surfacing to strangers who don't follow them. While this doesn't make an account private, it significantly reduces discoverability for those who prefer to share content with their existing community rather than a wide audience.

The option can be found in the Privacy and Security settings of the app, with changes taking effect after about an hour. In addition to this, Bluesky has also rolled out the ability to upload 10-minute videos and introduced custom feed options. The company emphasizes that this is just one of several updates designed to give users more control over their experience.
