Polis buru 2 penghuni lari dari Puspen Dengkil

Two residents escaped from the Dengkil Drug Rehabilitation Center (Puspen Dengkil) today. The Deputy Commissioner of Sepang Police, Mior Mohd Nor Azuan Alias, informed that his department received a report about the incident at 8:40 am. Currently, his team is attempting to locate the two men. The public is advised not to panic, make assumptions, or spread unverified information about the incident, according to Bernama.

If anyone has information about the two individuals, they are asked to report it to the nearest police station or call IPD Sepang at 03-87774222. Additionally, individuals may also contact the nearest Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) office or call the TeleHello AADK hotline at 1-800-22-2235 or WhatsApp at 019-626 2233 to provide information.

Meanwhile, AADK Chief Executive Officer Ruslin Jusoh stated that the two men had fled the Dengkil center before stealing a vehicle in a nearby village. However, the stolen vehicle was later found by AADK in Beranang, Selangor, before being handed over to the police for further action. Jusoh also mentioned that a thorough internal investigation is being conducted to determine the cause of the incident, including examining potential breaches or non-compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). "AADK will take strict action if any misconduct is found among the staff involved," he said.
