Polis buru 2 penghuni lari dari Puspen Dengkil

Two residents of the Dengkil Narcotic Rehabilitation Centre (Puspen) escaped from the facility on Tuesday morning. According to Mior Mohd Nor Azuan Alias, Deputy Chief of Sepang Police, the police received a report of the incident at 8:40 AM. The police are currently tracking the two men and urge the public not to panic or spread unverified information about the events.

The public is asked to provide any relevant information to the nearest police station or call 03-87774222. Additionally, individuals can contact the nearest Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) office or AADK hotline (1-800-22-2235 or WhatsApp at 019-626 2233) to report the information. Meanwhile, AADK Chief Executive Officer Ruslin Jusoh mentioned that the two men fled from the Dengkil Puspen complex before stealing a vehicle from a nearby village.

However, the stolen vehicle was later recovered by AADK in Beranang, Selangor before being handed over to the police for further action. Jusoh also said that a thorough internal investigation is being conducted to identify the cause of the incident, including possible negligence or non-compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). AADK will take stringent action if any wrongdoing is found among the staff involved.
