Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, Chief of the Air Staff, has praised the financial aid extended to families of fallen heroes from the Armed Forces and Police. This commendation took place during the second edition of the Renewed Hope Initiative, a presentation of financial support to widows of fallen heroes, held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, was among the attendees alongside other prominent figures. The Nigerian Air Force announced this in a statement released on their official social media platform. The initiative was organized by the First Lady's Office under the RHI Social Investment Programme, which aims to provide financial assistance to families of personnel who "made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation."

Air Marshal Aneke expressed that ongoing support for these families "shows the nation's recognition of their sacrifices" and underscores the government's dedication to the welfare of those they left behind. The Chief of Air Staff participated in the event alongside other high-ranking military and security officers, focusing on aiding widows of personnel who lost their lives while serving Nigeria.
