The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, recently praised the financial assistance extended to the families of fallen Armed Forces and Police personnel. Aneke made this commendation during the second edition of the Renewed Hope Initiative's presentation of financial aid to widows of fallen heroes at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, which also featured the First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, and other distinguished guests.

The Nigerian Air Force announced this development in a statement posted on their official social media channels on Thursday. The event, organized by the First Lady's Office under the Renewed Hope Initiative Social Investment Programme, aimed to provide financial aid to the families of personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation.

Air Marshal Aneke emphasized that ongoing support for these families "reflects the nation's appreciation for their sacrifices" and underscores the government's dedication to the welfare of those they left behind. The Chief of Air Staff joined other high-ranking military and security officials at the event, which centered on supporting widows of personnel who had died while serving Nigeria.
