Kuwait and Pakistan sign joint defence deal

Kuwait and Pakistan have entered into a joint defence and military cooperation agreement during the visit of Kuwait's Defence Minister to Islamabad. This agreement represents a "significant step in defense and military cooperation between the two countries," according to a statement from the Kuwait Army.

Under the new pact, Pakistan's armed forces will provide assistance to Kuwait in training and capacity building of its military and defence forces. Additionally, Pakistan will aid in border management and other mutually agreed areas of defence cooperation. The primary goal of this deal is to "strengthen operational coordination, exchange military experiences, and enhance the level of readiness and integration" among the armed forces of both nations.

This latest agreement follows Pakistan's signing of joint defence agreements with Saudi Arabia and Turkey earlier this month.
