Dennis Aboagye vows to strengthen NPP communications ahead of 2028

Dennis Edward Aboagye, also known as “Miracles,” has pledged to revamp the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) communications strategy and guide it towards victory in the 2028 general elections should he be chosen as Director of Communications. The former Director of Communications, who has dedicated about 23 years of his life to the party, believes that the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC) may grow complacent due to its current electoral advantage, providing an opportunity for the NPP to re-engage the public.

According to Aboagye, the NPP will adopt a more strategic and proactive approach to political communication under his leadership, aiming to shape and command national conversations. He emphasized the importance of reaching voters through all relevant communication channels and platforms, ensuring the party is present in every space where public opinion is formed. Aboagye affirmed his leadership style would be characterized by confidence, respect, and passion, rather than confrontational tactics.

The communications veteran believes that his extensive experience in political communication will enable him to effectively lead the NPP's communications team as the party aims to rebuild grassroots support and prepare for the 2028 elections.
