Wildberries warehouse in Russia completely destroyed in Ukrainian drone attack

A Wildberries logistics center in Kotovsk, Russia's Tambov region, was completely destroyed in a Ukrainian drone attack on August 26, according to Tambov Governor Yevgeny Pervyshov. The assault resulted in two injuries: a 19-year-old man with a concussion and a 49-year-old woman who suffered a broken finger. The Ukrainian drones involved in the attack totalled 19, with 16 being intercepted by air defenses, allowing three to reach the warehouse.

Kotovsk Mayor Alexey Plakhotnikov had previously recommended residents to minimize outdoor activities for the following two days and close their windows due to intense fire, smoke, and smog. This incident marks the second Ukrainian attack on the Kotovsk warehouse, as a previous strike on July 18 claimed the lives of seven Wildberries employees.
