US Secret Service aware of Iranian video threat to assassinate Barron Trump

The US Secret Service has been made aware of an Iranian state television video alleging a potential assassination plot against Donald Trump's youngest son, Barron Trump. According to a spokesman, the Secret Service is investigating the matter, maintaining a focus on operational security and refraining from discussing protective intelligence.

The three-minute video claims that Barron Trump has been under surveillance and offers a $10 million bounty for his assassination. Iran and the United States have been engaged in hostile rhetoric during a six-month-old war initiated by the US and Israel in February. Reuters reported earlier that the US has received multiple warnings from Israel about potential Iranian assassinations of Trump, even before a secret Air Force One operation in Turkey.

Trump himself has reportedly been labeled "number one on the kill list for Iran". In response to the assassination of Iran's Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iranian media have frequently circulated threats against President Trump and his family members.
