Apple has unveiled its latest Mac mini and Mac Studio, designed to cater to the growing demand for AI-driven computing. The new Mac mini, starting at $899, comes with either the new M6 chip or the M5 Pro, marking a slight price increase from its predecessor. Meanwhile, the Mac Studio offers options powered by the M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, priced from $2,499 to $5,499.
Both devices are marketed for their ability to handle AI tasks locally, whether as a home computer, professional studio, or always-on agentic device. The launch is seen as Apple's final major product unveiling under CEO Tim Cook's leadership, highlighting the company's response to rising memory chip costs and its push into the AI market.
