Samui zoo owner files complaint over alleged threats from Israeli tourists

The owner of Samui Exotic Park, Jindarat, has filed a police complaint against a group of Israeli tourists who allegedly harassed her and threatened her family and property. The dispute began when the tourists violated the zoo's rules, including refusing to pay admission fees and behaving dangerously towards the animals. Jindarat put up a Palestinian flag at the zoo and refused entry to the group, claiming they threatened to harm her family, burn her home and the zoo.

The group reportedly mistreated animals, ignored instructions, and allowed incompatible animals to come into contact with each other, resulting in injuries. One tourist entered a bird enclosure, causing a bird to collapse and die. Jindarat also alleged that members of the group took food and milk bottles from other visitors to feed the animals.

Additionally, she claimed the group entered the zoo without paying, sought a refund after causing a disturbance, and repeatedly parked and circled a vehicle near her home. Thai residents have since supported Jindarat and claimed to have witnessed similar incidents but were afraid to speak publicly. She has called for an investigation into all parties involved and urged everyone in Thailand to follow Thai laws and regulations.
