CM Yogi Adityanath Assures Cow Rearing Assistance To Sitapur Woman, Orders Time-Bound Action On Grievances

Lucknow, August 24 - Poonam Devi, a resident of Gurudev Nagar in Sitapur, met with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during his Janata Darshan and expressed her desire to rear cows. Upon receiving her request, CM Yogi instructed the ACS Animal Husbandry department to provide her with an abandoned cow and ensure she receives benefits from eligible government schemes.

Meanwhile, a differently-abled individual reported illegal encroachment on his land, leading to an investigation by officials to resolve the matter. Poonam stated that she wished to become self-reliant through cow rearing, currently owning five cows and having ample space to add more. She requested additional cows so she could sell milk and dairy products, thereby improving her family's financial situation.

In response, CM Yogi directed the ACS Animal Husbandry department to provide her with an abandoned cow and financial assistance under the Mukhyamantri Sahbhagita Yojna for cattle care. During the Janata Darshan, CM Yogi paid tribute to 1857 heroes and honored the families of martyrs. He met each person individually, enquired about their well-being, and listened to their problems.

Poonam's application prompted CM Yogi to encourage her, emphasizing that the government would provide her benefits under the applicable schemes. He also advised her to serve cows with devotion, as they are considered the abode of 33 crore deities. Poonam expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister for helping fulfill her wish during the holy month of Shravan.
