This idea came from a previous interview where Banaszak suggested people reach out if they are interested in participating in politics. Now, he is putting that idea into practice, traveling from Magdeburg to Halberstadt to meet with potential supporters.

The Greens are concerned about the AfD's rising popularity in the region, which could lead to the AfD achieving a majority in the Landtag. To prevent this, the Greens believe that they must win at least five percent of the vote each, as this could prevent the AfD from forming an absolute majority government. The Greens have also launched a campaign called "Green Votes Against Nazis" to mobilize voters who may otherwise abstain from voting if other parties are not appealing enough.

Sascha, a new member of the Green team, is enthusiastic about the new campaign strategy. He believes that the Greens have a chance of success, especially with recent improvements in their poll numbers, which have risen from three percent to five percent. However, the party's success in Sachsen-Anhalt is not without risk, as they have previously struggled to surpass the five percent threshold in other regions.
