‘Bring it on buddy’: Everything Ontario’s Doug Ford said about President Donald Trump

Ontario Premier Doug Ford engaged in a verbal exchange with US President Donald Trump on Monday, trading insults and threats amid escalating tensions between the two leaders. Trump, on his Truth Social platform, had earlier accused Ford of "bluster" in trade talks and labeled him as "less charismatic, intelligent, and overall unimpressive" as the brother of late Rob Ford.

During his press conference, Ford fired back with a series of insults, promising to make sure Republicans lose in the upcoming midterm elections. He described Trump as a "dictator" and a "bully," comparing him to a schoolyard bully who would steal belongings. Ford emphasized his commitment to Team Canada, stating they would leverage any pain inflicted on Canadians against Americans.

He claimed he had more experience and "skin like an alligator" than Trump, asserting that any insult from Trump would have little effect on him.

Ford pledged to use all available tools to counter Trump's actions, warning that if given the chance, he would engage in door-to-door campaigning in the U.S. He dismissed Trump's popularity among his own people, stating they would voice their disapproval during the midterms.
