2027: Makinde best man to defeat Tinubu — APM

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has endorsed Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde as the ideal candidate to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, according to wire service reports. This endorsement comes before a scheduled meeting of the G-100, a political pressure group promoting a single opposition candidate to challenge Tinubu.

APM's National Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Yusuf, urged other opposition presidential hopefuls to prioritize unity over personal ambitions and support Makinde, whom the APM describes as the most likely candidate to defeat the incumbent president.
