MCA diingatkan jangan cepat berpuas hati dengan ‘kejayaan kecil’

Presiden MCA, Wee Ka Siong, has warned party members not to be too quick to be satisfied with small victories. Speaking at an MCA pre-election briefing in Ipoh, Perak, Wee urged party leadership at all levels to demonstrate high commitment, offering outstanding services to tackle the upcoming 2016 General Election.

Wee highlighted how a party's strengths directly contribute to coalition negotiations and future political calculations. Following MCA's success in the July Penang by-elections, securing eight seats, and early results from the Negeri Sembilan PRN in early this month, Wee addressed preparations for the upcoming Melaka state election.

Any specific discussions regarding the distribution of seats among the Barisan Nasional (BN) components are expected to be finalized post-DUN (Dewan Undangan Negeri) results. The Melaka constituency by-election, number 15, is scheduled to conclude by December. Over 200 MCA representatives from various levels attended the briefing.
