Adeleke won’t join APC, will work with FG — Campaign spokesman

Pelumi Olajengbesi, spokesperson for Ademola Adeleke's campaign council, has denied reports that the Osun State Governor intends to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after his meeting with President Bola Tinubu. Olajengbesi explained that the meeting was a courtesy call to express respect for the President's office and to appreciate Tinubu for enabling a fair election.

The governor's visit was also meant to advocate for healing and unity in Osun State following the election. Olajengbesi emphasized that Adeleke remains a member of his political party and that his visit to the President does not imply a defection to the APC.
