Adeleke won’t join APC, will work with FG — Campaign spokesman

Pelumi Olajengbesi, spokesperson for the Ademola Adeleke Campaign Council, has denied reports that Osun State Governor Adeleke plans to switch his allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC) following his visit to President Bola Tinubu. According to Olajengbesi, the governor's meeting with the President was a simple courtesy call and a sign of respect for the office of the President.

He emphasized that Adeleke remains a member of his own political party and will continue to work alongside the Federal Government to promote progress in Nigeria and Osun State. Olajengbesi further stated that the visit was not aimed at Adeleke joining the APC, but rather to appreciate Tinubu for facilitating a free and fair election in Osun State.
