Obey court ruling on Area K Land -Njemanze-Neboh urges Imo government

Princess Stella Njemanze-Neboh, a member of the Njemanze dynasty, has appealed to the Imo state government led by Hope Uzodinma to comply with a recent court ruling concerning Area K Land. This land, awarded to the Njemanze family through a State High Court, was recently encroached upon by alleged government officials. Princess Njemanze-Neboh clarified that the land was acquired through a documented process between the Njemanze dynasty and the people of Umuguma, compensating for the death of one of her uncles.

She emphasized that anyone claiming ownership of the land should explain how their ancestor negotiated the land transfer. The Princess noted that the Njemanze family is willing to share the land with the people of Amawom due to the risks their youths took to protect the land. However, she protested the government's forcible takeover, claiming it constitutes bullying.

Princess Njemanze-Neboh also highlighted that the land should be used for farming to combat hunger, as it is the last piece of land available to them. She called on the government to at least provide financial compensation for the land owners instead of forcefully taking it.
