The Fellowship of the Full Gospel Business Men’s International (FGBMFI) has been rescuing detained female patients at hospitals in Accra for the past seven years, according to Mrs. Philomena Anokwafo, Team Lead of the Hospital Ministry. Over GH¢303,100 has been spent to cover medical bills, and an additional GH¢80,000 has been used for non-maternity-related donations such as baby essentials and other necessities.
The Fellowship also organized medical outreaches, bringing together 64 medical professionals to provide care to community members, benefiting six polyclinics so far. Each patient received a one-on-one counseling session with an FGBMFI member while waiting to see a doctor. Mrs. Anokwafo emphasized that FGBMFI's actions were an embodiment of God's love through tangible acts of charity, praising the Ladies of the Fellowship's leadership, particularly former Second Lady Mrs. Mathilda Amissah-Arthur, and the support from the National Executive Committee led by National President Mr. Emmanuel Baba Mahama.
