Dankook University plans to establish a 300-bed hospital on a 28,000-pyeong site in Hongseong-eup, Hongseong-gun. The hospital will operate 24 departments, including pediatrics, obstetrics, and surgery, and will provide 24-hour emergency services. The province and the university plan to sign a contract as early as next month and start preparations for the hospital's opening. Chungnam Governor Kim Tae-heum said, "We will do our best to ensure that the hospital opens on time and provides safe and high-quality medical services to the people of Chungnam."
