Voters like Bersama, but think it cannot win, says Rafizi

Rafizi Ramli, the party leader of Bersama, has stated that while voters may appreciate the ideas offered by the party, they doubt its ability to defeat the ruling Pakatan Harapan (PH) in elections. He believes that the biggest challenge for Bersama is not getting voters to accept it, but convincing them that the party has a realistic chance of winning.

At a Bersama event in Shah Alam, Rafizi cited comments such as, "I like your ideas, but you are too new. Let the big boys battle it out first," which reflect the sentiment of some voters. These sentiments are also echoed among dissatisfied PH voters who may choose to vote for Barisan Nasional instead, due to their belief that Bersama cannot defeat Umno.

Party co-leader Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad identified Selangor as a potential key battleground for Bersama, noting that the state's urban and highly educated electorate could present an opportunity for the party to make inroads. He emphasized that Bersama is committed to going solo as far as possible and does not want to be tied to other parties.
