Voters like Bersama, but think it cannot win, says Rafizi

PETALING JAYA: Pakatan Harapan rival Bersama faces a daunting challenge in convincing voters to back the new party, says its leader Rafizi Ramli. While some voters appreciate Bersama's ideas, they are hesitant to support a fresh political entity against more entrenched blocs. Rafizi noted that even those dissatisfied with PH might opt for Barisan Nasional instead, as they doubt Bersama's ability to defeat the incumbent party.

"It's not about whether they accept us, but whether they have full confidence that we can make a difference," Rafizi stated at a Bersama event in Shah Alam. A similar sentiment was echoed by party co-leader Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, who identified Selangor as a potential battleground for Bersama due to its urban and educated electorate.

"Selangor can swing very fast and its voters do not have tribal loyalty. Our commitment is to go solo as far as possible. We don't want to be tied to other parties," Nik Ahmad said.
