General Manager P Ananth emphasized that safety was the top priority, noting that the zone achieved zero consequential train accidents and commissioned Standard Kavach over 98 Route Kilometres and 122 Route Kilometres on the Tumakuru–Arsikere and Whitefield–Jolarpettai sections, respectively.

Additionally, SWR introduced 22 new trains, upgraded 125 existing trains for faster speeds, and saved 3,335 minutes of travel time, achieving an 88.16% punctuality rate for Mail/Express trains, ranking 5th across India. The railway zone also expanded its passenger services with 22 new trains, 4 additional trains, and 42 regularized trains, resulting in a significant 3,335 minutes of time savings.

The General Manager commended the Railway Protection Force for their commitment to passenger safety and railway security, highlighting their role in rescuing children, adults, and returning lost belongings.

SWR also showcased its dedication to a greener future by installing 789 kWp of solar capacity, reducing HSD consumption by 12,650 kilolitres and saving approximately ₹94.3 crore. Recognizing employee achievements in sports, operations, and asset management, Ananth emphasized that these accomplishments reflect the collective dedication and teamwork of every SWR employee, urging them to maintain their commitment to safety, punctuality, passenger satisfaction, efficiency, and overall performance in the pursuit of further enhancing railway services.
