Kamil Munim, the PKR Youth Leader, emphasized that while support for Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is currently strong, victory in the upcoming elections depends on further efforts in regional areas, according to a report by <source 02e4ffee-057>. He stressed that the political system, which is based on representation, requires party members and youth to serve and gain the trust of the people in their respective districts and branches.

"Even though surveys and studies show that public support for the Prime Minister is good, our political system is not that strong," he said. At the PKR 2026 Congress in the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC), Kamil stated that PKR's victory in key regions is crucial to maintaining Anwar Ibrahim, who is also president of the party, as Prime Minister for a second term.

"Our victory in these areas will determine and ensure that our president can be retained for a second term," he added. He urged PKR to learn from past defeats, improve preparation among youth, and consistently implement the reform agenda. Kamil also stressed that reform requires patience and should be carried out consistently and wisely.

"Reform requires patience. Reform must be consistent, and when the time is right, it will continue to be carried out by us," he concluded.
