Security forces kill 10 India-backed terrorists in Khuzdar operation

Security forces in Khuzdar district successfully eliminated 10 terrorists and injured several others during an intelligence-driven operation on Saturday. The targeted hideouts were spread across three separate groups, resulting in a fierce battle between the terrorists and the security personnel. Following the intense exchange of fire, the forces initiated a thorough search and clearance operation in the surrounding areas to track down the remaining fugitives.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his appreciation for the security forces' efforts, acknowledging their role in eliminating terrorists who pose a threat to humanity. He emphasized the ongoing commitment of the nation to eradicate terrorism from the country. Meanwhile, Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove narrowly escaped an armed attack on his convoy while returning to Quetta after a flag-hoisting ceremony in Kalat.

The attack, carried out by armed men hiding in the mountains, injured nine individuals, including seven police officers protecting the minister.

Earlier this week, the military reported that eight terrorists were killed when explosive material detonated during preparations for a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device in Balochistan's Surab district. This incident resulted in at least three civilian casualties, with two soldiers also sustaining injuries during a subsequent exchange of fire.

In total, 18 terrorists affiliated with the Fitna al-Hindustan group have been eliminated so far, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations. The security forces remain determined to continue targeted operations against terrorist elements and ensure the complete eradication of terrorism from the region.
