Security forces eliminate 10 terrorists in Balochistan's Khuzdar

Security forces carried out an intelligence-led operation in Balochistan's Khuzdar district, resulting in the deaths of ten terrorists and injuries to several others. The operation targeted three separate hideouts within the Shor Pard area. The terrorists were armed and engaged in a fierce battle with security forces, leading to extensive searching and clearance efforts in the surrounding region.

The security forces have vowed to continue their targeted operations against terrorist groups, ensuring that the threat of terrorism from the region is eliminated. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their successful operation, emphasizing the commitment of the nation to eradicate terrorism from the country.

The incident occurred a day after Balochistan's Home Minister, Mir Ziaullah Langove, narrowly escaped an armed attack on his convoy while traveling back to Quetta from Kalat. The attack, perpetrated by armed men hiding in the mountains, resulted in injuries to nine people, including seven police personnel. On the same day, the military reported that eight terrorists were killed when explosive material detonated during the preparation of a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device in the Surab district.

At least three civilians also lost their lives in a secondary detonation of explosives stored at the terrorists' hideout. In total, 18 terrorists affiliated with the Fitna Al Hindustan group have been eliminated so far, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations. The military has stated that a comprehensive clearance operation is ongoing, aiming to track down and eliminate all remaining terrorists.
