Anwar launches Temu Fikrah, PKR Youth’s manifesto‑meets‑manual for courage, creativity and Madani governance

On August 16, Prime Minister and PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim inaugurated Temu Fikrah, a manifesto and manual crafted by the PKR Youth wing (AMK) for its National Congress in 2026. The 113-page booklet, penned by AMK chief Muhammad Kamil Ahmad Munim and AMK executive committee member Ashraf Ahmad Hadi, explores the party's fresh perspectives on tackling current challenges.

Anwar characterized the publication as a fitting response to the introduction of the Malaysia Madani concept, which now serves as the guiding philosophy for the nation's administration. He emphasized that this initiative was not just empty rhetoric or a fleeting political slogan, but a transformative process aimed at re-humanizing national development.

Madani, Anwar explained, strikes a harmonious balance between tangible progress and spiritual integrity, while upholding justice, compassion, sustainability, and respect in governance. He cautioned that the trust bestowed upon the youth today carries a profound responsibility and a test of piety and moral integrity, rather than a license for complacency or a celebration of superficial accomplishments.

Anwar urged the youth, particularly AMK members, to demonstrate extraordinary creativity, intellectual boldness, and spiritual fortitude in rebuilding a nation marred by past inequities and inefficiencies. He expressed optimism that Temu Fikrah would transcend mere reading, being absorbed and put into practice at the grassroots level to serve the people.

The publication functions as a crucial resource for AMK cadres, fostering appreciation for the party's history, understanding its foundations and ideals, and internalizing the significance of "Reformasi." Spanning the genesis of the Reformasi movement and the establishment of PKR, the booklet delves into the principles of justice, policy frameworks, youth activism, and the values of compassion and humanity.

It also serves as a guide for cultivating knowledgeable and principled party members who remain committed to upholding the party's struggle.
