Russian drone attack on Kyiv Oblast injures three people in Brovary district

On August 16, Russian forces launched an attack on Kyiv Oblast using strike drones, injuring three individuals in the Brovary district. According to the Regional Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko, the victims included a man and two women. Tkachenko clarified that a prior report of a child being injured was not confirmed.

One woman required hospitalization due to shrapnel wounds, while the man and the other woman received immediate medical aid at the scene. Additionally, the attack resulted in damage to four houses and a passenger vehicle in the area.

Earlier, Tkachenko had reported that the attack in the Brovary district had injured three people, including a child who later received medical assistance and did not need hospitalization. The Russian forces had also targeted Kyiv with ballistic missiles overnight into Sunday, causing powerful explosions in the city that led to fires and damage in the Obolonskyi and Holosiivskyi districts.

The enemy also carried out a combined strike on Kryvyi Rih, damaging two industrial facilities. At least one fatality and 13 injuries were reported in these attacks. The Russian forces had also targeted the Kremenchuk community.
