Ukraine’s drone blitz rocks Moscow, Indian billionaire’s factory caught in return fire

Ukraine unleashed a barrage of drones from the skies above Russia on Sunday, resulting in casualties and extensive damage across the nation. This marks one of the largest drone strikes Ukraine has conducted since the onset of the conflict. In retaliation, Russia unleashed its own onslaught, causing injuries and destruction of its own.

The assault left at least six individuals dead, while Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported it to be the most intense air raid Moscow faced in the past two years. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's administration has escalated attacks against Russia this year, targeting energy facilities and military industries with hundreds of drones and long-range missiles.

One of the most significant targets was the largest integrated steel unit in Ukraine, an industrial complex owned by Indian billionaire Lakshmi Mittal. The attacks have severely impacted Ukraine's economy, with the largest Wildberries logistics hub in Russia, encompassing 250,000 square meters, destroyed in the blaze. The Indian billionaire's factory also suffered from the crossfire, making headlines for its destruction.
