Osun election: The people have spoken – Nyameh

Professor Jerome Nyameh, the candidate of the Accord Party in the 2023 Taraba State gubernatorial election, has hailed the results of the recent Osun State gubernatorial poll as a resounding endorsement of the populace's democratic preferences. Nyameh expressed his congratulations to Osun State's newly elected governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his reported triumph in a press release issued in Jalingo on Sunday.

Nyameh lauded the Osun electorate for their fortitude, resilience, and determination to safeguard their votes amidst alleged intimidation and political coercion targeting the Accord Party and its candidate. He emphasized that the electoral outcome underscored the immense power held by citizens in a democratic nation, asserting that an undeterred, united populace can staunchly defend their choices.

Nyameh stated, "The victory was significant not only for Governor Adeleke and his supporters but also for the Accord Party and its members, who have shown unwavering commitment to the democratic process."
