Al-Hazem edge Al-Bukayriyah 3-2 to reach King’s Cup last 16

Al-Hazem secured their place in the King’s Cup round of 16 following a dramatic 3-2 victory over Al-Bukayriyah in a round of 32 match played on Sunday evening. The match took place at Al-Bukayriyah’s home ground in front of enthusiastic local supporters. Al-Hazem took the lead in the fifth minute through Afimico Pululu, but Al-Bukayriyah’s Saad Al-Muwallad leveled the score in the 27th minute.

Pululu added a second goal for Al-Hazem in the 37th minute, and Sultan Tankar sealed the win with a third goal in the 65th minute. Al-Bukayriyah’s Hattan Ahmed pulled one back in the 68th minute, but the match remained tense as Al-Bukayriyah continued pressing for a comeback. The turning point came in the 83rd minute when Saad Al-Muwallad scored again for Al-Bukayriyah, but the goal was ruled out due to offside by VAR.

Al-Hazem held onto their lead until the final whistle, advancing to the round of 16. Al-Bukayriyah earned a valuable away win and a spot in the round of 16 draw, which will take place on Thursday at 3 p.m.
