Sanusi mahu Selangor jadi titik mula tumbangkan PH

PN Selangor chief Sanusi Nor insisted Selangor is crucial as it is the country's economic, financial, and administrative hub. PAS desires to make Selangor the starting point to rally Pakatan Harapan (PH) in the state and subsequently at the federal level for the 2016 general election, as Sanusi stated at the PAS Selangor Women's Conference in PAS Selangor Complex.

He emphasized that a fall of PH in Selangor would result in a fall of PH at the federal level. The women's conference aimed to build spirit and reinforce the determination of PAS to seize Selangor administration from PH. PAS planned to devise strategies and approaches, including actions in line with party constitution, national legislation, and democratic practices to face PRU16.

During PRN Selangor 2023, PH won 32 out of 56 DUN seats, while PN won 22 seats, with two contested by Barisan Nasional. PH and BN subsequently formed the state government. Last month, PKR Selangor Deputy Youth Chief Shahrul Adnan urged PH in the state to reassess its political cooperation with BN, suggesting a political cooperation built on mutual respect, trust, and commitment, rather than seasonal elections or current political interests.

Analysts stated that BN-PN cooperation could challenge PH's grasp on Selangor, especially if the two alliances successfully reduce the Malay vote fragmentation.
