#OsunDecides2026: ADC candidate raises the alarm over agent exclusion, denies vote buying

The ADC governorship candidate in Osun State, Najeem Salaam, expressed worry over the supposed omission of his party's agents in numerous areas during Saturday's election. Salaam, who went to his polling station to vote at 10:39 a.m., said he heard reports that ADC agents were not being acknowledged despite the party having listed their names beforehand.

He reported the alleged non-recognition of his party agents in 10 local government areas to the appropriate authorities, who are currently investigating the matter. "We talk to the people, we tell them about our programs, and that is exactly what we do. Vote buying is out of the question. I have never in my life bought votes," Salaam declared.

He added, "People will decide whom they want, and I believe it should be completely fair for them to have the right to choose their preferred candidate." Salaam also dismissed claims of vote buying by the ADC, stating that the party's priority was to present its programs and allow voters to freely decide their preferred candidate.

The candidate, who cast his vote in Ward 4, expressed confidence in his victory, attributing his optimism to his faith in God and the voters' support.
