#OsunDecides2026: ADC candidate raises the alarm over agent exclusion, denies vote buying

Najeem Salaam, the candidate for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the upcoming Osun State governorship election, has expressed concern over the alleged exclusion of his party's agents in several areas during Saturday's poll. The ADC had previously uploaded the names of their agents ahead of the election, but Salaam, who visited his polling unit at 10:39 a.m., reported that the ADC agents were not being recognized.

This non-recognition took place in ten out of the state's local government areas. Salaam reported this issue to the relevant authorities, who are now investigating the matter.

Salaam emphasized the importance of transparency and fair competition in the electoral process, stating that he and his party do not engage in vote buying. He reiterated that his focus was solely on presenting his party's programs and allowing voters the freedom to choose their preferred candidate.
