Parti Rafizi tak gugat PKR, kata Pemuda

Parti Rafizi did not file a legal challenge against PKR, according to Pemuda leader Kamil Munim. Kamil asserted the strong support for PKR from the party's internal members, evidenced by the high representation at the PKR National Youth Congress. He stated that the party's core members continue to back PKR, as seen by the significant number of delegates attending the congress.

Kamil discussed the allegations made by former PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli, who claimed that around 25% of the new party's leadership comprises former PKR members, while 15% consists of former members of other parties, including Umno, PAS, and Bersatu. The remaining 60% of the party's leadership consists of individuals who have never been part of any political party.

Kamil acknowledged that some PKR members had requested to leave the party, but these individuals were not significant in number. He also admitted that the presence of Bersama might have slightly affected PKR, particularly in areas where the party has contested in the recent elections. Kamil sees this as a lesson for PKR to gain more support in upcoming polls.

"We observed this in two areas, namely Bukit Batu and Perling (in Johor PRN), which had Bersama candidates. Before, we were sitting with a very small majority, and a slight change in votes could have influenced the outcome," he said.
