Anwar dikhianati selepas selamatkan Umno, kata Pemuda PKR

Pemuda PKR has asserted that Anwar Ibrahim saved Umno from certain demise after the 2015 General Election, according to source material. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim had previously attempted to rescue Umno from its struggles following the 2015 election, but his efforts were ultimately met with betrayal, said Huraimi Mohamad Husri, a PUM Wilayah Persekutuan representative.

Huraimi questioned whether Anwar was respected or recognized as a friend, adding that his actions were not appreciated. Huraimi also warned that political power struggles could lead to former friends turning against each other, emphasizing that political battles should not be based on personal relationships or specific interests.

He argued that the struggle for power should be rooted in one's commitment to the people and the cause. Meanwhile, PUM Melaka representative Muhammad Hakim Mohd Hafizudin criticized Umno's Deputy Deputy Leader, Dr Akmal Saleh, for often promoting a narrative of Malay fear. Hakim also lashed out at those who labeled him as liberal due to his stance within PKR, stressing that he remains a loyal Malay and Muslim, capable of reading the Quran and Hadith.

Hakim urged PKR leadership not only to criticize others but also to bravely address internal weaknesses to ensure the reformist struggle continues to gain public trust.
